The following control maintenance records belong to the DLOT (Detail Lot Tracking) category.

Default Detail Lot Country Code

Enter the default detail lot country code to display in the Country field in Detail Lot Maintenance. This is the country in which the lot item is manufactured.

Valid Detail Lot Certification Codes

Enter codes and descriptions to use for tracking certification claims of a special quality or enhancement of the product for a detail lot. More:

Options	Codes can be up to 10 characters long and descriptions up to 20 characters long.
Outcome of setting this control record	Users can assign codes defined in this record to the appropriate lot in the Code field in the Detail Lot Certification window.
Default Value(s)	None
Action if set to Null	There are no codes to select from in Detail Lot Certification.

Valid Detail Lot Cost Adder Codes

Enter cost adder codes and descriptions, which refer to improvements that have been made to a product to enhance its quality and/or value. More:

Options	Codes can be up to five characters long and descriptions up to 20 characters long.
Outcome of setting this control record	You can assign these codes in various combinations to indicate that the product varies in quality according to the improvements that have been made to it. Assign these codes to a product using Detail Lot Maintenance.
Default Value(s)	None
Examples	For example, Rust (Rustproofing) or Case (Case Hardened).
Dependencies	Cost adder codes have an associated cost that is assigned to a detail lot in Detail Lot Maintenance.
Action if set to Null	You are not able to assign cost adder codes to products.
Additional Information	Cost adder codes might affect Q/C Inspection Levels. That is, the more improvements made to a product, the higher the quality.

Valid Detail Lot Country Codes

Enter detail lot country codes to identify the countries of origin of detail lot products. More:

Options	Enter each country from which your company obtains detail lot products. You can define both two and 3 character country codes. If you are using Starship, with the exception of US and Canada, shipping packages are sent the full country name from this control maintenance record. Use the Shipping Country field shipping packages receive this country instead of the normal country name to allow for shipping packages that need a country identification other than what you use in Eclipse.
Outcome of setting this control record	You can assign a detail lot country code to a detail lot in the Country field on the Detail Lot Maintenance screen.
Default Value(s)	Your system comes loaded with an extensive list of countries along with their codes.
Examples	Barbados = BB and BRB
Additional Information	Use the Default Detail Lot Country Code control maintenance record to enter the default country code that displays in that field.

Valid Detail Lot Hold Codes

Enter detail lot hold codes used in Detail Lot Maintenance to indicate that the product is on hold and cannot be sold or used for a specific reason. Codes can be up to 20 characters long. This code displays in the Detail Lot Selection window when attempting to place this product on an order.

Valid Detail Lot Special Feature Codes

Enter detail lot special feature codes used to describe something about a detail lot product. Codes can be up to 20 characters long. Special feature codes do not have an associated cost.
