To automatically index scanned images:Automate the indexing process by using Auto Attaching. When you enable Auto Attach, the Document Indexer runs in the background, and remains ready to automatically process images to the designated profile each time you scan a document. Automatic indexing is handy for processing large numbers of documents.
You can also automatically index barcoded documents.
To automatically index scanned images:From the Windows Start > Programs > Eclipse menu, select Document Indexer to display the Eclipse Document Indexer dialog box.
From the Select Profile drop-down list select the profile for indexing your images. A profile is required to let the system know how to index and store the image being processed. This profile will be used for all the images during the auto processing session.
Enter a directory path in the text box or click the Browse button to designate the directory path for the scanned images.
Click the Auto Att. button.
All files in the directory use the defined profile to attach to Eclipse records.
Scan files as needed. Each file uses the defined profile until you click the Auto Att. button to disable auto attachment.
