You can include customer type and customer price class in columns in the pricing matrix.
Customer Type is defined as follows:
An entry defined in the Valid Customer Types control maintenance record.
Usually used for promotional pricing.
Usually a name such as "plumber," "electrician," or "contractor."
Price Class is defined as follows:
An entry defined in the Valid Customer Price Classes control maintenance record.
Usually numeric, such as Class1, Class2, and so forth.
Can be different from branch to branch. For example, a company has Branch 1 in Hyannis, Massachusetts, on the mainland U.S., and Branch 2 on Nantucket Island, not connected with the mainland by a bridge. You assign a customer Price Class 2 at Branch 2, on the island and Price Class 1 at Branch 1, on the mainland, and set up additional shipping costs for the customer from Branch 2.
Can be assigned to customers for different products. You can assign customers to one class for the majority of items bought, and give customer-specific pricing on other items or groups of items.
