Before you can synchronize information between Eclipse and Microsoft Outlook, you need to provide settings Microsoft Outlook to find and access your Eclipse application.
To establish communication between Eclipse and Microsoft Outlook:
Download and run the Eclipse Personal Information Manager client installer to install the necessary application components in Microsoft Outlook.
Access the install script from the Downloads Center page on http://distribution.activant.com/eclipse-support/.
Log in to the Eclipse Customer Support site page. Click DownloadsCenter under the Product Center heading on the left side of the page.
Open Microsoft Outlook and select Eclipse > Settings to display the Options dialog box.
Complete the following information to establish communication with your Eclipse server:

Enter the user ID you use to log on to Eclipse. | |
Enter the password you use to log on to Eclipse. | |
Enter the name of the server that hosts the Eclipse application. | |
Enter the SSL port on which your server runs Eclipse, such as 2443. |
Click Apply and then Test Connection to verify that the two applications can communicate with one another.
Click OK to close the dialog box.
