Following are the control maintenance records, authorization keys, and additional setup required to use the Eclipse Personal Information Manager companion product.
Eclipse Personal Information Manager - EPIM Settings - For each branch, indicate who receives messages regarding contact, customer, and vendor record changes that users with Review access to a record have made. Also indicate whether the system should send a system message or create a tracker for the records that require administrator review. If you set the system to forward system messages and tracker appends to the administrator's e-mail address, the administrator can receive any updates that require review directly in their e-mail inbox.
Mobile Domain Name - To create links to access Eclipse Mobile information from contact records in Outlook, set this control maintenance record to include the base path to the Eclipse Mobile information.
Prior to running the application, complete the following additional setup for Eclipse Personal Information Manager:
Communication settings - Establish communication between your Eclipse server and Microsoft Outlook.
Messaging forwarding - Set up individual users to receive Eclipse system messages through e-mail.
Contact access - Assign user message groups or individual users who can download and upload contact, customer, and vendor data.
Schedule control - Set up individual users to sync their Microsoft Outlook calendar information to Eclipse.
