Setup Requirements for Trading Partner Connect

The majority of the settings for Trading Partner Connect are set for you when we install the product on your system. The settings you are most likely to update are the templates that the system uses to create trading partner profiles and establish pricing for your dead stock items. However, you also have the ability to change the settings that the system uses to communicate with the Trading Partner Connect server.

From the System > Custom > Add On Products > Eclipse B2B Products menu, select TPCx Setup to display the TPCx Setup Maintenance screen.

set the EDI trading partner the system uses as a template when establishing relationships with trading partners on the Trading Partner Connect web site.

TPCx ISA Template

As you establish relationships with trading partners, the system automatically sets up a trading partner profile in your Eclipse system with the same parameters and document settings that exist in the profile you enter in this field.

set the customer the system uses to determine pricing setting for any dead stock items that you post to Trading Partner Connect.

Dead Stock Price Cus

As you post dead stock products, the system prices the stock according to the pricing matrices and other settings defined in the customer you enter in this field.

Important: Changing the communication settings from what was set at the time of your installation can affect the ability of your Eclipse server to communicate with the Trading Partner Connect server. We recommend that you only change these settings if you are working with an Eclipse customer support representative or your Eclipse installer.

From the System > Custom > Add On Products > Eclipse B2B Products menu, select TPCx Setup to display the TPCx Setup Maintenance screen.
Complete the following information to connect to the Trading Partner Connect server:

Field	Description
TPCx Server Address	Either the hostname or IP address of the Trading Partner Connect server.
TPCx Server Port	The port on the server on which Trading Partner Connect runs.
TPCx HTTP Address	The web site address of the Trading Partner Connect web site. For example, http://eclipsetpcx:8090/spoke0/. The web site address contains the server name, the port number, and the spoke version.
TPCx System ID and TPCx Spoke Version	Assigned by Trading Partner Connect and is set upon installation of the product.
