The unquality event tracking (UET) program uses parameters to find events that cause a loss of service to your customer or a loss of profit to your distribution business.
You can set default parameters for the system, and override parameters for buy lines, products, customers and vendors. Use the UET Parameter Maintenance screen to set levels of unquality event detection for sales, purchasing, and branch transfers.
To enter UET parameters for a buy line:
From the Purch > Maintenance menu, select enter Buy Line Maintenance to display the Buy Line Maintenance screen.
Select the buy line.
Use the enter UET Params hot key to display the UET Parameter Maintenance screen.
By default, the UET Parameter Maintenance screen displays the Sales view.
Use the enter View hot key to set levels of unquality event detection for sales, purchasing, and branch transfers for the buy line. The view displays in the screen title, such as enter UET Parameter Maintenance: Sales.
