Printing Product Bar Code Labels

If your warehouse uses scanners and bar code labels, assign bar codes to all the products in your inventory. If a new product arrives without a bar code label, create and generate a label from a terminal using Product Label Printing.

To print a bar code label for products in your warehouse:

  1. From the Whse Mgt > Barcode Labels menu, select Product Barcode Labels to display the Product Label Printing screen.

  2. In the Br/Tr/All field, enter the branch or territory to which the product you are printing labels for belongs.  Enter All to print bar code labels for all branches and territories.

  3. In the Product field, enter a product for which to print bar code labels.

Use the Products hot key to access the Product Selection screen where you can enter multiple products. Press Esc after you enter the products. The system displays *Multi* in the Product field.

  1. In the Serial # field, enter the serial number if one exists for the product.

  2. In the Prc Line field, enter a price line if you want to print bar code labels for a complete product price line.

Use the Prc Lines hot key to access the Price Line Selection screen where you can enter multiple price lines. Press Esc after entering the price lines. The system displays *Multi* in the Prc Line field.

  1. In the Location field, press F10 and select a location to print a location other than the primary location for the product, which is the location displayed in the field.
