Viewing Information About Checks

Use the Check Viewing window to view information about a check, including the check number, vendor name, date, amount, and payables paid by the check. This window is view-only.

To view information about checks:

  1. From the A/P menu, select the A/P Ledger to display the A/P Ledger window.

  2. Populate the window.

  3. With a disbursement selected, a transaction ID starting with D, from the Inquiry menu, select View Invoices to display the Check Viewing window.

  1. View the check's information in the following fields:

Field

Displays

Bank Account

The bank account from which the check was written.

Check #

The check number.

Prefixes indicate the check type if processed electronically:

  • AWF - DAC or ACH processed through Wells Fargo Payment Manager.

  • WF - Wells Fargo Payment Manager transaction.

Check Date

The date the check was written.

Branch

The branch to which this transaction is assigned.

Vendor Name

The vendor to whom the check was paid.

Payable Amount

The total amount of the payables being paid by this check.

Discount Amount

The total amount of the discounts allowed on the payables being paid by this check.

Currency Gain/Loss

The difference, either a gain or a loss, between the your primary currency and the currency on the check.

Check Amount

The amount for the check.

Payable #

The system-assigned number of each payable that this check is paying.

Invoice #

The invoice number associated with the designated payable.

Payable Amount

The payable amount for the designated payable.

  1. When you are finished, click OK to exit the window.
