Viewing Vendor Purchase Histories

Use the Vendor Purchase History window to view a vendor's purchase history. In addition, you can use the Default Branch Options window to set defaults for the branch or territory.

To view a vendor's purchase history:

  1. From the A/P menu, select A/P Inquiry to display the A/P Inquiry window.

  2. Populate the window.

  3. From the Inquiries menu, select Purchase History to display the Vendor Purchase History window.

  4. In the Branch/Territory field, enter the branch, branches, or territories for which you want to view purchase history. By default, the system displays the purchase history for all branches.

  5. Review the vendor's purchase history in the following fields:

Field

Description

Month / YTD

Purchase or paid dollar amounts for each month of the year, and the total for the year.

Years

The dollars for the designated month (or YTD) of the year identified at the top of the column.

Difference %

The percentage of difference between the two Year fields.

  • Options > Next Year

set the default branch or territory for this report

Options > Default Branch Options

display either the paid or purchase amounts

  • Options > Show Purchase

  • Options > Show Paid

  1. Save your changes and exit the window.

To set branch or territory defaults:

  1. From the A/P menu, select A/P Inquiry to display the A/P Inquiry window.

  2. Populate the window.

  3. From the Inquiries menu, select Purchase History to display the Vendor Purchase History window.

  1. From the Options menu, select Default BranchOptions to display the Default Branch Options window.

  2. In the Default From Current Line field, enter one of the following to determine whether the branch in the Branch/Territory field on the Vendor Purchase History window defaults to the branch in the Branch field for the current line item on the A/P Inquiry window:

  1. In the Default Branch/Territory field, enter the branches or territories that you want the Branch/Territory field on the Vendor Purchase History window to default to.

If you set the parameters for this field, the Default From Current Line field defaults to No.

Note: You can only enter branches or territories for which you are authorized.

  1. Save your changes and exit the window.
