Use the A/R Credit Lien Report to determine if we are running out of lien time for an account's job. The system runs for job accounts with account receivable greater than zero ($0.00).
To run the Credit Lien Report:
From the A/R > Reports/Journals menu, select Credit Lien to display the Credit Lien report driver.
At the prompt, select the layout for the report you want to use. If you create a custom layout, the system remembers your selection the next time you open the report to run it.
Note:This prompt only displays the first time you run a report.
Use the fields to determine how you want to run the report:
Field | Description |
Branch/Territory | Enter the home branch, branches, or territories for which you want to review credit lien information. Note: Users can only report on those branches or territories for which they are authorized according to the User Accessible Branches settings in User Maintenance. |
Customer | Enter one or more customers for which you want to review credit liens. |
Ship State | To narrow the report results to a specific state or states, enter the state IDs, such as CO for Colorado. Leave this field blank to run for all states and territories. |
Lien Date Before | Enter the lien date for which to run the report. The system includes all accounts with a lien date prior to the date you enter. The system uses the information entered in the Job Information tab in the Credit Controls of the Customer Maintenance. If the Customer Lien Day is not defined, the system uses the |
Lien Filing Date Before | Enter a date to run the report to include only those accounts that have a lien filed before the date entered. |
Customer Select Code | Enter one or more customer select codes for which you want to review credit liens. This limits the report to those codes you select. Customer select codes are entered on the Additional Information tab in Additional Customer Information in Customer Maintenance. |
Credit Manager | Enter one or more credit managers for which you want to review credit liens for the accounts to which they are assigned. Mark users as credit managers in User Maintenance. |
Job Type | Enter one or more job types for which you want to review credit liens. This limits the report to those job types you select. Define Job Types using the |
Nature of Project | Enter one or more project types for which you want to review credit liens. This limits the report to those Nature of Project types you select. Define Nature of Project selections using the |
Sort by | Indicate how you want the report to sort to the report results: Customer, Job Account, Ship State, Lien Date, or Balance. The default is Customer. |
In the Lien Field area, indicate if you want to include, exclude, or run the report for only customers with credit liens filed.
In the Sort Order area, indicate if you want the results to sort in ascending or descending order by customer name.
Note:The system sorts the results by bill-to account and then by job account name.
