The following control maintenance records belong to the PURGE area within the MAINT (Maintenance) category.
Minimum Days Past Bid Pricing Expire Before Purge
Enter the default number of days that must pass beyond a bid's expiration date before a user can delete the bid.

Minimum Days Past Bid Ship Date Before Purge
Enter the default number of days that must pass beyond a bid's ship date before a user can delete the bid.

Minimum Months To Keep During A PROD.LOG Purge
Enter the default number of day that must be kept for PROD.LOG. The PROD.LOG file stores pricing and cost information and most Eclipse sites maintain 36 to 48 months’ worth of data. You should take care to keep enough information to ensure that pricing and cost checks can be calculated accurately. This control record is an added setting to the Purge Maintenance utility.
Months Before Purge Of EDI Archives
Enter the system defaults for the Purge Archive Documents program. For each EDI archive, enter the number of months of archive data the system keeps when it runs the purge archive documents program.

|
Determines how long each of the document types are kept in the system.

If you enter 12 in a field, the system preserves the most recent 12 months of archived data and deletes everything that has been in the archive longer than 12 months.

The system does not delete records from that archive. If you enter zero (0), the system deletes all the records in the archive.
