RF MAIN Control Maintenance Records
The following control maintenance records belong to the MAIN area within
the RF (Radio Frequency) category.
AdvBinMgmt-
Store Delimiter When Both Layout Flags Are Active
Using this control record you can set the system to
store the location code in the database with a delimiter.
Y = The system
stores the location code with a delimiter when the two location layout
delimiter settings are active. (For example, AA-01-A) From the Product
Location Layout Maintenance, on the Location Layout window set Delimiter
to Y and the Delimiter in Bar Code to Y.
N = Setting
to N, the system does not store the delimiter for the location codes.
(For example, AA01A)
Enabled RF Branches
Lists the total number of branches authorized to use RF, and the total
that have been enabled using the RF Enable Inprocess Queue For Typescontrol maintenance record. This record also lists which
branches are enabled for RF.
Exclude RF Orders From Close Counter Order List
The setting determines whether orders that are being
processed with RF show on the Close Counter Order window or not. This
setting allows for system flexibility to handle the closing RF orders
according to your branch processes.

- Default status is No, in which case RF orders show on the Close
Counter Order list.

- If you have your system set to print a document on RF close and
prefer not to use the Close Counter Order window to close the order,
select Yes.

RF Default Location Status
Select the default location status the system uses when RF programs
create a location. We recommend that you select F-Floating,
because the system deletes a floating location once it is empty. Options
include:

RF Enable Tote Validation
For each branch, indicate whether the system validates that totes scanned
during RF Picking, Receive Verify, Replenishment, Tote Consolidation,
Tote Auditing, Move Product, and Tote Inquiry have TOTE as the prefix.

prefix, the system beeps and re-prompts the user to scan
the tote.

For each branch that uses RF, select the order types the RF system handles
at the branch.

|
If a branch is
selected which is not enabled in this control maintenance
record, then the count of authorized branches is checked.
If the new branch being added exceeds the number of authorized
RF branches for your company, then the system displays an
error message. In addition, when all in-process types have
been removed from a branch, then the branch is removed from
the control maintenance record.

If your company
uses Manual Shipment Receiving, you must select the Shipment Receiving Only
type to enable the creation of in-process records when shipments
are created in Shipment Receipts Entry.

RF Menu Default
Enter the default menu to display on all RF hand-held scanners, regardless
of who logs on and what their normal menu is. Set the menu to RF.MAIN
for a standard RF system.
RF Valid Order In-Process Statuses
Enter the alphanumeric status codes that users can assign to an order
in the RF system while it is in process.
