Eclipse Mobile provides remote access to data created in Solar Eclipse. Eclipse Mobile features are defined by the Authorization Keys programmed on your Solar Eclipse settings. There are two main roles: internal users, such as employee, manager, or administrator, and customers.
Note: Your designated role controls the functionality in your Eclipse Mobile application and defines the features that display on your Home screen.
Your system manager makes the necessary adjustments to your system to fit the requirements of your wireless mobile device (handheld or tablet) and provides a company designated URLhttp://hostname/Mobile (i.e. http://eclipseinc.com/mobile) to access, Eclipse Mobile.
Note:You must have the MOBILE.ALLOW andMOBILE.BUSINESS.SUMauthorization keys to access the Eclipse Mobile application. Contact your System Administrator for assistance with Eclipse Mobile configuration.
With the Eclipse Mobile interface you can:
Fill and edit orders with pre-set customer IDs and general information.
Search products and services with the one-click search utility.
Receive real-time updates on inventory as you enter products in your order.
Select the shipping branch and shipping method.
Send and receive messages.
