Changing Printer Configurations

If needed, you can update your printer configurations.

To update printer configurations:

  1. From the System > System Files menu, select Eclipse Forms Printer Setup to display the Eclipse Forms Printer Setup window on the General Settings tab.

  2. In the Eclipse Printer Name field, enter the user-friendly name for the printer for which you want to change forms or printer tray information, such as Warehouse Dock 1 or Sales Counter West Side.

  1. Review the new printer introductory information and, if needed, change which trays to use on the printer.

  2. If you want to set printer trays differently from the imported settings or if the system cannot find settings to import and you need to set the tray information manually, select Manual Override.

  3. If you want to set the tray information back to the default settings from the server, click Refresh Printer Settings. The system prompts you to confirm the update.

  4. Click Next and, if needed, update printer locations for the printer.

  5. Click Next and, if needed, map the forms to the trays for this printer.

  6. Click Print Test Page to test your setup configuration.

The system prints a test page for each tray set up.

  2. Click Back to make adjustments in the configuration.

  3. Click Finish to complete the configuration.

  4. Click Cancel to abort the set up.
