Your business requires unique forms for printing, such as for invoices and sales orders. The Eclipse Forms The Eclipse Forms application provides greater flexibility to your forms so they fit your business needs.
Eclipse Forms solves the following:
Makes printer set up easier by moving it from AIX/Universe to Windows.
Increases form flexibility to change logos, footer messages and Order # barcodes using control settings.
Provides the ability to store PDF copies of printed, faxed, and e-mailed forms (requires Document Imaging companion module).
Provides a more professional look and feel to your forms.
PDF copies are encoded so text can be selected and copied out of the form.
Prints, faxes, and e-mails order documents the same form.
Prints, faxes, and e-mails reports directly from your hold file.
The Eclipse Forms platform also has a Designer application and license that is NOT sold as part of the Eclipse Forms module. The Designer application is a programming platform, in addition to a visual designer. Editing forms requires programmer-level experience with Universe Database Structures, PICK Programming and training in the Forms Designer programming language. The Designer application and license are not generally available, unless there are existing programmers on staff who are comfortable making changes in Eclipse PICK programs. Sites are not able to edit their own forms without the Designer.
The Administrator application manages access to the Deployment Server. Using the Administrator application, you can view details about the following:
Deployment server users
Runtime server statuses
Process logs
