You might have a group of users, such as your counter sales people, that would benefit from having the same widgets. Instead of recreating each widget for each user, you can add a set of widgets to a widget template and then assign the template to a user, multiple users, or to a message group. You can assign multiple widget templates to a single user.
You must be assigned the SOLAR.WIDGET.TEMPLATE authorization key to create and assign widget templates.
To save widgets in the widget toolbar as a template:
Add the widgets to the widget toolbar that you want to include in the template.
Right-click anywhere in the widget toolbar and select Save Current Widgets As Templates.
In the Enter Template ID field, enter a unique name for the template and click OK.
To access the template to make modifications or to assign it to users, select Widgets > Widget Template Maintenance from the File menu.
