When you first log into the system, the Solar Eclipse window displays the main menu options. You can access these options with the mouse or keyboard. Each menu option opens a new window in which you complete the task. You can close these windows using the mouse or the keyboard.

To access a menu using the mouse:
Click the main menu option, such as System or Orders. The options for that menu display below it.
Move the mouse cursor down the menu. When the desired menu option is highlighted, click the left mouse button.
Note: If an arrow appears next to a menu option, rest the mouse cursor over that menu option to see more choices.
To access a menu using the keyboard:
Each main menu option includes one underlined letter in its name. These letters are used in conjunction with other keys to select menu options using the keyboard.
Note: These options are for standard Eclipse windows. For using the keyboard from the Solar Desktop, see
Find the main menu option you want and locate its underlined letter.
Press and hold Alt while pressing the underlined letter for that menu option. The options for that menu display below it.
Note: To select a different main menu, release both the Alt key and the underlined letter, and then use the Left and Right Arrow keys to move to a different main menu option.
To select an option displayed under a menu, do one of the following:
Press and hold Alt while pressing the underlined letter in the option name.
Use the Up or Down Arrow keys to highlight the option, and then press Enter to select it.
Note: If an arrow appears next to a menu option, use the Arrow keys to highlight the desired menu option, and press Enter to select it.
