Printing Cut Tickets and Labels

The system provides users with a tool to decide if and when cut tickets and cut labels should print. Use the Cut Ticket And Cut Label Printing Optionscontrol maintenance record to enter when the cut ticket or cut label should print for each branch. You can reprint cut tickets and cut labels, if needed.

For cut tickets, you can choose to use the default setting which prints the order when it is finished processing or released or not to print at all. For the default, if the system is using auto-process ship via, then printing occurs when the orders are processed or released. If the system is not using auto-process ship via, then prints occurs when the cut is set to Cutting in the Cut Product Queue. If you leave a field blank, the system treats it as a default entry.

Note:This applies to sales orders and transfers.

For cut labels, there is an addition option: Print at RF Close. If this is selected, the Cut Label prints when the RF picker closes their picks.

For more information about when tickets and labels print for cuttable products, see Printing Orders with Cuttable Products in the Product Cutting online documentation.

Important:  Before printing cut labels, label forms must be defined and set up through User Defined Shipping Labels Format Maintenance. This setup defines the options used when printing labels through order entry.

To reprint cut tickets:

  1. Open the order that contains cut items for which you need to reprint a pick ticket.
