Small Project Jobs

Eclipse helps you manage the smaller jobs when negotiating with a vendor for special job pricing on an order. These prices are one-time-only special job quotes; one-off rebate quotes that have to be handled independently from the monthly rebate reporting. The Small Project Jobs functionality helps you handle these special rebates.

The products with the special pricing have manual cost overrides entered for any product that receives a special cost. Users can manually enter these costs and enter the contract numbers received from the vendor. Eclipse captures the contract number and vendor for each line item.

Use the Small Project Job Setup control maintenance record to set the initial defaults for managing Small Project Job settings.

Note: Standard order entry permissions apply. If you do not have permission for specific functions, such as changing costs, the windows display in view-only mode. If you do not have COGS.VIEW authorization, the Small Project Jobs menu option is inaccessible.
