Use the Open Cash Drawer prompt to open the cash drawer without printing a receipt. You would typically use this to remove your cash, checks, credit card receipts, and coupons from the drawer for end-of-day processing.
Only authorized users can open the cash drawer.
To open the cash drawer:
Log into the character-based system. This feature is not available in a Solar Eclipse interface.
From the System > Custom > Add-On Products menu, select Open Cash Drawer to display a prompt.
At the Are You Sure You Want To Open Cash Drawer (Y/N)? prompt, type Y (Yes) to do one of the following:
