Running the Sales Opportunity Pipeline Report

You can link job data to sales opportunities as they arise. You can track potential sales in a pipeline and tie opportunity to a job or a sales order. Use the Additional Header Information in Sales Order Entry to enter the job name and tag the order to that job. By tieing the order to the sales opportunity directly, the system populates the order's sales opportunity information.

Use the Sales Opportunity Pipeline Report to see a summary of opportunities. Review the following control maintenance records prior to running the report the first time.

To run the Sales Opportunity Pipeline Report:

  1. From the End of Month Reports > Sales Summary & Statistics Report menu, select Sales Opportunity Pipeline Report to display the report driver.

  2. In the Br/Tr/All field, enter the branches or territories for which you want to run the opportunity report.

  3. In the Start Date and End Date fields, enter the create date range for the sales opportunities for which you want to run the report.

  4. In the Source field, enter the source for which you want to run the report. For example, if you want to review how many job bids came to you as a result of an internet search.

  5. In the Stage field, enter the stage for which you want to run the report. For example, enter Pending to review which jobs are still outstanding to be awarded.

  6. In the Status field, enter the status for which you want to run the report. For example, if you want to review all lost bids.

  7. In the Win Confidence field,  enter the confidence level for which you want to run the report. For example, if you want to review all items that were marked as low confidence, but the status was equal to a win. You can review why those bids may have succeeded.
