You may at times find it necessary to relocate all the products in a location to a new location in your warehouse. For example, if you are updating your warehouse layout to accommodate new products, you may need to move all the product quantities, lot numbers, and serial numbers from location 01-01-01 in your warehouse to 01-02-02. Use the Product Location Move feature to move all the products in one location to another location at one time.
To move all the products in a warehouse location:
From the Whsemenu, selectMove Product Locationto display the Product Location Move screen.
In the Branch field, enter the branch of the location you want to move.
In the Product field, enter the product you want to move, or leave the field blank to move all the products in a location.
In the From Location field, enter the original location from which to move the product. Press F10 to select from a list of locations if you entered a product in the Productfield.
In the Type field, enter the product location type, such as Over Shipment or Defective, to move from the original location to the new location. Type All to move all the product types.
In the To Location field, enter the new location to which to move the product.
Use the Move Location hot key to reassign the location.
Note: To view all the products and their quantities in the location you specified, use the Proof Report option to create a report in your Hold file.
