Rescheduling Undelivered Orders

If you have the appropriate authorization level, you can edit existing manifests to reschedule undelivered orders to a new shipping manifest.

Complete the following tasks to reschedule undelivered orders to a new manifest:

To change the ship date for undelivered orders:

  1. From the Warehouse Management > Warehouse Queues menu, select Shipping Manifest Queue to display the Shipping Manifest Queue - Select Items dialog box.

  2. In the Manifest ID field, enter the manifest number that contains the undelivered orders.

Leave this field blank to search for an existing manifest based on any combination of entries in the Ship Via, Ship Date, and Ship Branch fields.

  1. Click OK to display the Shipping Manifest Queue window.

  2. From the File menu, select Unlock Manifest to unlock the manifest, if necessary.

Note: If the manifest is closed, select Open Manifest from the File menu first. You cannot change the ship date of an order on a closed manifest.

  1. Select the ticket number for the order that was not delivered and select Edit Order from the Edit menu to display the sales order for that ticket.

  2. Click the Status tab to display the order's status information.

  3. In the Ship Date field, change the date to reflect the new delivery date for the order.

  4. From the File menu, select Exit to save your changes and return to the Shipping Manifest Queue window.

  5. Repeat steps 5 to 8 for any additional undelivered orders on the manifest.

  6. Remove the undelivered orders from the manifest.

  7. Save the manifest and exit the window.

To remove undelivered orders from a manifest:

  1. From the Warehouse Management > Warehouse Queues menu, select Shipping Manifest Queue to display the Shipping Manifest Queue - Select Items dialog box.

  2. In the Manifest ID field, enter the manifest number that contains the undelivered orders.

Leave this field blank to search for an existing manifest based on any combination of entries in the Ship Via, Ship Date, and Ship Branch fields.

  1. Click OK to display the Shipping Manifest Queue window.

  2. Remove all the undelivered orders from a manifest by right-clicking the ticket number and selecting Delete Row.

  3. From the File menu, select Lock Manifest to prevent any additional orders from being added to the manifest.

  4. Save the manifest and exit the window.

To add an undelivered order to a new shipping manifest:

  1. From the Warehouse Management > Warehouse Queues menu, select Warehouse Confirmation Queue to display the Warehouse Picking Confirmation window.

  1. In the Order # field, enter the order number that you removed from the original shipping manifest.

  1. From the Manifest menu, select Ready to Manifest to display the Ready to Manifest window.

If the Verify Ship Date/Ship Via For Ready To Manifestcontrol maintenance record is enabled, the Ready to Manifest window allows you to change the ship date and ship via on the ticket. If the control maintenance record is disabled, the system places the order on the appropriate manifest.

Note: If Auto Scheduling is not enabled, you need to manually add the order to a new manifest.

  1. In the Ship Date field, edit the date as needed.

  2. In the Ship Via field, edit the ship via as needed.

  3. Click OK to save the changes and exit the window.
